how YOU doin'?

Hey deeudes!! It's Caffy. Just thought I'd update you on what I've been up to. I would post a pic but my batteries are dead...so anyways. I've been home for just over 2 weeks now and it's been going really well. I'm enjoying visiting family and friends and catching up with everyone. I feel like I've been so busy doing that though, that I haven't had much time to chill by myself and really reflect on the past 6 months. So I am slowly working on that, going through lecture notes, going through our millions of pictures and sharing with people how my experience was. But God is totally providing in many ways- providing me with money, borrowing my sisters car for a few days...AND...I'm working fulltime at camp again in the registration department! I'm so thankful, it's good to be back. It's just till June so I'll be looking for a job again but that's okay.

I find it easy to get back into your "old" routine of life again, easy to ignore God and just do your own thing. But since going to DTS I really feel closer to God and am aware more and more of his presence in my life. So my quiet times have been going well, but of course I could always improve!

In reading the "re-entry" book I felt to share my thoughts what it says on page 74 and 75 about your identity- it says "We are sons and daughters of God. Whether we were missionaries or not has nothing to do with how God views us. He may be pleased with our diligent service, but that doesn't elevate us to the status of a priveledged child." I thought that was really cool 'cause it can be easy to think you are better than others because you did a DTS but this reminds us that we are all equal in God's eyes and we must act accordingly!
